Definisse™ revitalise thread treatments are even simpler than other types of thread treatments, taking literally 10-15 minutes. The threads are very fine and are invisible under the skin - you won't even notice the threads once inserted and positioned correctly. After just a few months you’ll start to see the benefits of rejuvenated healthy skin and a natural glow.

Fine synthetic polymer threads, similar to medical sutures, are gently and quickly inserted under the skin in the desired treatment areas. The threads then stimulate collagen production as skin tissue reacts to the presence of the thread – and over time, due to it’s biocompatibility¹, the polymer-based material continues to generate collagen as it is gradually absorbed.

Definisse™ revitalise threads stimulate both Collagen Type 1 and Type 3 over a longer time period (up to 18 months⁴) than PDO and PLLA threads (which only stimulate Collagen Type 1³) and only last for around 6 months.

Definisse™ revitalise threads are the only revitalising threads to use P(LA-CL) material – extensively clinically proven through its use in our Definisse™ 3D lift threads. This is the newest thread material and the most advanced thread technology.
