Definisse™ Hydrobooster is a smooth hyaluronic acid gel which is directly injected into the superficial layer of the dermis to replenish lost levels of HA - supporting hydration and promoting water binding with the HA molecules, for ongoing moisture retention.
Definisse™ hydrobooster can improve skin quality and hydration. The most common treatment areas are: forehead, eye contour, cheeks, jawline, neck and around the lips.
The gel is injected slowly into the superficial layer of the skin using a very fine needle. This is repeated until the desired area is uniformly treated. The treatment is quick and easy and is ideally repeated 3 times, at 3 week intervals. This can be repeated up to twice a year for a continued moisture boost from the skin.
Definisse™ hydrobooster contains high molecular weight HA gel, formed with long molecular chains. This type of HA is well tolerated and supports the attraction and retention of water molecules in the skin. As the skin’s natural HA is restored, the hydration function continues until the newly injected HA is naturally depleted. At this time, repeat treatments are recommended to retain that new moisture level and glow.
